Larry Starks current President of the Tucson Juneteenth Festival Committee has been committed to bridging the gap in the black community with large organizations dedicated to making a significant impact in Tucson. The Tucson Juneteenth Committee has plans to bring an educational element to the city with its Tucson Juneteenth Festival at the Kino Sports Plex on June 17, 2023. This is going to be the largest event in Tucson this year and they have so much planned while incorporating the most important elements of Juneteenth and celebrating as a family.
