Due to recent incidents and circumstances, the Toke Committee voted unanimously to update the definition of Toke in the Bylaws.
In accordance with the new definition, items acceptable to drop include Tioga Downs value cheques, US bills (cash from blackjack tournaments), and quarters.
Any other forms of gratuity – slot vouchers, non-value roulette chips, cheques from other casinos, coins other than quarters, anything we cannot redeem at the cage – do not drop in the box.
Non-value roulette chips convert to value cheques, then drop. Cash convert to cheques, then drop.
If a non-toke is offered, thank the customer, and kindly explain we cannot accept as a toke.
